Auger Public Event Display

In November 2006, the Pierre Auger Collaboration decided to release 1% of the data of its surface array for outreach purposes. The data are selected to be well reconstructed events (what we call T5, 5th level of trigger), with less than 60 degrees of zenithal angle (ie. we remove very horizontal events). Only events with less than 50 EeV of energy are available.

The reconstruction used by this event display is not the official Auger reconstruction. It is however of excellent quality and its output should be correct for most cases.
